Before looking into our feature update, I am curious how many meetings last week you took and how many meetings you really needed to take. For most founders I talk to, the honest answer is āless than halfā. The other half came with no context, the wrong person, or a demo calendar link that let anyone in.
Thatās the problem weāve been heads-down on. Today weāre opening up a new feature in Walnut AI: Meeting Agent.
Meeting Agent: your agent works before you show up
This feature is built around one idea: not every person is worth your time meeting with them. Your AI agent should do the work before you show up. It comes in three modes, depending on how much filtering you need.

In most cases, you have already decided to have a meeting with someone, maybe someone referred by a friend, maybe have talked with him or her for 5 minutes at the event before and think you should grab a coffee. Anyway, if you need a link to book meetings with someone quickly, express meeting is the fastest setup: create it, share it, and people can book. Perfect for the āletās grab 15 minutesā moments.
š Advanced Information Collection
Sometimes, your calendar link will be shared in different groups with the goal of hiring, seeking partnerships or demo booking. Decide what you want to know before anyone lands on your calendar is important. The agent can help collect their company, what they want to discuss, a deck, a resume or anything else. You walk into every meeting already prepared, instead of spending the first ten minutes on āso, tell me what you do.ā

This is the one Iām most proud of. Tell your agent who you want to meet, and it screens requests against your standards and answers peopleās questions on your behalf. Only the right conversations will make it to your calendar. This is pretty great for fundraising, hiring, or anyone with more inbound than hours.
